For the third activity, 10 students from BORG Deutschlandsberg went to the Dachstein on September 15th. Since the Dachstein cable car is being rebuilt on the Styria side, the Krippenstein cable car went up the mountain from the Upper Austrian side. From the valley station there was a 3-hour walk to the Simonyhütte, our base for the weekend. On the second day we went to the glacier for experiments, measurements and explorations together with our two mountain guides Christoph and Michael.
