On November 7, 2024, the Viktor-Obendrauf Award for outstanding didactic master’s theses and dissertations was presented at the Meerscheinschlössl of the University of Graz as part of the Day of Teaching celebrations.
Among the honored works was the master’s thesis by Eva Reichmann (Chemistry), titled:
“Making Glaciers Tangible: Developing Model Experiments to Convey Scientific Phenomena of Alpine and Glacial Regions within the GlacierXperience Project.”
This innovative work developed experiments to make scientific phenomena of alpine and glacial regions both comprehensible and experiential. The thesis was supervised by Ass.-Prof. Dr. Philipp Spitzer and Dr. Sebastian Tassoti. It is available for review here:
