Material:
- Rust-brown stone suspected to contain iron
- Iron test strips
- 10% hydrochloric acid
- Place a drop of hydrochloric acid on the brown-colored stone and wait for one minute.
- Take an iron test strip and place the test side on the stone.
- Wait 60 seconds, then compare the color with the color scale provided by the test.
