Material:
- Beakers
- Conductivity meter
- Water samples (snow/glacial ice or rainwater, tap water)
Distilled water
- Pour some of your sample into a beaker.
- Turn on the conductivity meter and rinse the probe with distilled water.
- Hold the probe in your sample and write down the value.
- Then rinse the probe again with distilled water.
- Complete the steps for all samples.
